Arper – Mixu
The new MIXU chair model by Arper needed an ambitious launching campaign, one that could revolutionise the way designer chairs are presented.
Executive Summary: Arper Mixu – The Essence of Circular Design In this case study, Blank Studio presents the creative direction and visual strategy for Mixu, the versatile seating collection born from the collaboration between Arper and the world-renowned studio Gensler. The project focuses on the celebration of materials and customization, highlighting a furniture system designed for disassembly and long-term sustainability. Blank Studio oversaw the art direction and visual storytelling, translating the values of eco-design and modularity into a coherent and sophisticated aesthetic narrative. Through careful management of material and color languages, we positioned Mixu as a benchmark in the high-end furniture sector, conveying a conscious and responsible luxury that meets the needs of the contemporary market and international contract design.
In order to deliver on this necessity, we made the chair the core center of all inhabitable spaces, and through visual storytelling we told the story of Arper’s approach to the chair, from designing, to concept development, to contextualization. In a word: refined.
