ASA Laser: The Architecture of Healing
Technology is not just a mechanism of action; it is a living organism. For ASA Laser, we abandoned the rigid aesthetic of traditional medical devices to venture into the territory of dreams. The result? A triptych of 3D experiences that dematerialize MLS® Laser Therapy, Hilterapia®, and Qs Magnetotherapy, transforming therapeutic processes into oneiric journeys within the human body. A project where engineering precision meets the freedom of CGI.
Executive Summary: This page showcases the creative project developed by Blank Studio for ASA Laser. The project redefines scientific communication through three 3D animation and motion design videos, focusing on the mechanisms of action of three proprietary technologies. Overall Visual Concept The videos abandon traditional clinical iconography in favor of a fluid, dreamlike language. Each technology is paired with a specific human figure (persona) and depicts a visual journey inside the body, showing the interaction between energy and cellular tissue through macro and abstract CGI renders. Detailed Description of the Three Video Assets Video 1 – MLS® Laser Therapy: A 3D animation focused on the patented MLS® technology. The video graphically simulates the deep action of the laser at a cellular level, visually translating the pulsed and continuous emissions delivered in a combined and synchronized manner. The two wave streams penetrate biological tissues as fluid light beams and particles moving in synchronous rhythm. V ideo 2 – Hilterapia®: A high-intensity visual representation focused on deep tissue action. The animation illustrates the exclusive, patented high-intensity laser emission of Hilterapia®. Through geometric pulses and vibrant peaks of light, it depicts the energy discharge from a 1064nanometer pulsed Nd:YAG laser source—the only one of its kind on the market—capable of reaching extremely high peak powers between 1 and 3 Kilowatts deep within muscle and joint structures. Video 3 – Qs Magnetotherapy: A rarefied visual exploration centered on invisible forces. The video translates low-frequency ELF (Extremely Low Frequency, under 100 Hertz) and low-intensity (under 10 milliTesla) magnetic fields into graphical shapes. Concentric wave streams and minimal geometric elements hypnotically envelop the subject's body, describing the therapeutic and biostimulating effect directly on cellular structures.
The Challenge
Conveying the efficacy of three distinct ASA Laser technologies without falling into standard catalog technicalities. The medical device sector is saturated with aseptic imagery and redundant mechanical demonstrations. The challenge was twofold: to maintain the scientific rigor required by a market leader while simultaneously elevating the visual language. We didn't want to create "stand-alone" videos or simple product tutorials; we wanted to create a visual identity that could speak to both the sales force and the patient with the same narrative intensity.
We started by decoding the brand's scientific heritage and technical materials. From this solid engineering foundation, we launched an aesthetic research phase, shaping our first visual explorations and look development.
The Solution.
We chose to humanize the technology, assigning each therapy a "persona" and a unique visual ecosystem. Instead of simply showing the handpieces, we designed dreamlike journeys that take the viewer directly into the heart of cellular interaction.
Metaphorical Approach: Using motion design and CGI to transform laser beams and electromagnetic waves into organic energy flows.
Immersive Narrative: Each video is conceived as a chapter of a broader visual experience, where the technology acts as an invisible yet omnipresent protagonist.
Oneiric Aesthetic: Surpassing industry standards by opting for a rarefied, fluid, and highly emotional language.
The Result.
The project consists of three independent visual works, each capable of narrating the technological essence of ASA Laser through a purely aesthetic lens. We demonstrated that even a medical device can become a poetic design object, taking Healthcare into a new dimension where science is, finally, the art of seeing.
