For the launch of De Castelli’s new Biomorphic collection, we pinpointed two base principles: allusive aesthetics and metaphorical mood. The core of this campaign is the link between the creations and the natural elements that had inspired their creation, a biomorphic dialogue between artificial design and nature leading to a crucible where the products and their primitive pulse become the concept itself.
Executive Summary: De Castelli – Biomorphic Design In this case study, Blank Studio analyzes the creative direction and visual narrative for Biomorphic Design, a research and development project by De Castelli that explores the boundary between industrial production and natural organic forms. The concept is inspired by biophilia, bringing the complexity of nature into metal through controlled erosion processes and handcrafted finishes. Blank Studio oversaw the art direction and visual storytelling, translating the materiality of metal into an emotional and poetic language. Through a refined visual strategy, we highlighted the encounter between Italian excellence and cutting-edge design, consolidating De Castelli's position as the partner of choice for architects and interior designers seeking surfaces and furnishings that seem to evolve like living organisms.
