We needed to take a fresh approach to describe the technology behind the sustainable, eco-friendly shoe soles by Vibram, and we did so by mixing shapes and materials into a visual concoction able to explain the recycling of rubber.
Executive Summary: Vibram Ecostep Pro – Sustainability in Action In this case study, Blank Studio presents the communication strategy for Vibram Ecostep Pro, the evolution of Vibram's historic eco-friendly compound (created in 1994) now specifically dedicated to the Professional/Safety sector. The project analyzes the challenge of combining environmental sustainability and rigorous industrial performance standards for safety footwear. Blank Studio oversaw the art direction and 3D video, focusing on the concept of “high-performance circularity.” Through technical and impactful storytelling, we communicated how the use of recycled rubber (up to 30%) does not compromise, but rather enhances the value of the product in the contemporary workwear market. A perfect synthesis of green technology and functional design, positioning Vibram as a leader in the ecological transition in the occupational safety sector.
